No prior sailing experience is needed as your private yacht will come complete with a professional crew, including a skilled local captain, attentive crew members, and a talented chef. They deliver discreet, five-star service, ensuring every aspect of your experience is both seamless and exceptional.
Our crews are experts in the destinations they sail, working closely with you to design a unique itinerary that complements your holiday aspirations. From recommendations to insider tips, they help create a one-of-a-kind journey for you and your guests. Your charter also includes gourmet dining, with meals tailored to your tastes. Prior to your trip, we’ll gather details on your culinary preferences to ensure that every dish served reflects your desired style and flavors.
Our yachts feature up to four cabins, comfortably accommodating a maximum of six guests. Each cabin offers modern amenities, including double beds and private en-suite bathrooms. Crewed yachts are available for hire for a minimum of three to four nights depending on the destination, with the exception of the Christmas holiday period, during which a seven-night minimum applies.

Our largest yachts can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 double cabins. We can make arrangements for up to 8 passengers if needed

The price is based on the yacht you select, the season you want to sail and the number of people onboard.

Your crew includes a local captain to sail the boat for you, a cook and a deckhand/guide. All our crews are handpicked for their expertise in sailing, cuisine and customer service, as well as destination knowledge.

You can find out more by contacting us / browse the itinerary page. We are not limiting ourselves to certain destinations, we create an itinerary tailored to you. Season depending we offer the best locations for any activities you would like to include. Manta Ray, Whaleshark and Shark diving/snorkelling as well as fishing and water sports are popular choices and we will arrange the best possible package for you.

We will do our best to make your dreams come true whether that is local or international cuisine. If you are celebrating a special milestone, such as a birthday or anniversary, let us know on your preference list pre-charter and we can arrange cakes, champagne and many other items that help you mark the occasion.

Meals will be served to suit your needs, although times may vary according to your preferred itinerary. Snacks are also served and available on board.

Before the charter, we will create a personalised itinerary with you. You will meet with your captain on the first day to review the initial itinerary which can be modified along the way according to preferences, or as needed for weather conditions.

The crew takes guests to the shore using a dinghy.

The skipper may decide to change the itinerary if there are concerns about weather conditions

There are none, remember that the boat will be at your entire disposal, so children are welcome.

Yes, dietary conditions and preferences will be catered for.

No, animals are not permitted on board.

A tender (small semi-rigid boat with a motor) is provided with your yacht, you can use it to go ashore and discover nearby islands.

Smoking is only permitted in the very rear of the yacht or by your crew’s discretion.

Smoking inside is strictly prohibited, even for electronic cigarettes. Cigarette butts must not be thrown in

Barefoot is best on board.

There is no dress code.

This is up to you. You may wish to have cash on hand for onshore tipping and purchases.

Our price is inclusive of service, if you feel the need to tip the crew that is at your discretion

  • We highly recommend you arrange travel insurance in case you need to cancel for an unexpected reason to cover non-refundable deposits. Please make sure you have personal travel insurance that covers sailing.
  • We will insure the vessel throughout the charter with first-class insurers against all risks, to provide permission to charter as under contract terms and to cover third-party liability.

If you cancel your charter, cancellation fees will apply:

  • If Charterer cancels more than 60 days before original charter start, Charterer will lose its 30% deposit. If Charterer has already paid for add-on options, Seagency Maldives will reimburse Charterer for these expenses.
  • If Charterer cancels 59 days or less before the original charter start, Charterer will lose the entire charter fee paid to date. If Charterer has already paid for add-on options, Seagency Maldives will reimburse Charterer for these expenses, unless cancellation occurs within seven days of departure. If within seven days, payment for add-on options will not be refunded.

Our cancellation policy is:

You are liable for all payments due and unpaid at the date of cancellation. Should you give notice of cancellation or fail to pay the balance, Seagency Maldives will retain the full amount of all payments made. If the yacht is re-let, then you may receive a refund that takes into account monies paid or due and any incurring fees.

a) Should the Charterer give notice of cancellation of this Agreement on or at any time before commencement of the Charter Period the Charterer shall remain liable for all payments due prior to and unpaid at the date of cancellation. Should notice of cancellation be given by the Charterer or should the Charterer fail after having been given notice to pay any amount payable under this Agreement the Owner shall be entitled to treat this Agreement as having been repudiated by the Charterer and to retain the full amount of all payments made by the Charterer.

RE-LET

b) Without prejudice to the Owner’s remedies in (a) above, if the Owner is able to re-let the Yacht to another Charterer for all or part of the Charter period then the Owner or the Broker/Stakeholder on his behalf shall refund to the Charterer such net balance as is due to the Charterer after re-letting which is to be calculated upon the following basis:

The original Charter Fee, net of commissions, shall be deducted from the net hire for the Charter Period due to the Owner from the re-letting. To this figure is to be added all reasonable additional expenses, including commissions, incurred by the Owner on re-letting. The figure as calculated will be deducted from the monies actually received from the Charterer and any remaining credit balance due to the Charterer will be repaid. The intention is that the Owner shall not receive less in net proceeds from any re-letting than would have been received if the original Agreement had been fulfilled. The Owner shall use his best endeavours to re-let the yacht and shall not unreasonably withhold his agreement to re-let, although charters which may reasonably be considered detrimental to the yacht, its reputation, its crew or its schedule may be refused.

We accept payment by credit/debit card and bank transfers.

You will be expected to pay a deposit at the time of booking of 30% of the charter cost. If you book a charter within 30 days of departure, we require payment in full. Availability, discounts and pricing may change and cannot be guaranteed until your charter is confirmed with a deposit of 30

You will need to pay a 30% deposit to confirm the booking and the balance is due 45 days prior to embar

When you make a deposit and/or payment in full, you acknowledge that you have read and consented to the terms and conditions.

If we accept your booking, we will issue a confirmation invoice. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice or, if you book within seven days of departure, the contract will exist when we take payment. When you receive the confirmation invoice, please check the details carefully and inform us immediately if anything is incorrect.

Offers and discounts cannot be applied retrospectively once a booking has been confirmed.

We understand there is a lot to think about before confirmation and we can provisionally hold a cabin for 48 hours if there is more than eight weeks before departure.

The fleet includes Sailing Catamarans; a Lagoon 450S, a Leopard 50 and a Sealine 42 Cruiser. They range from 42ft to 50ft.

Can you tell me about your skippered charter fleet?

When you browse our fleet, you can use this guide to understand the age of our fleet:

  • Elite Class Yachts (ELITE): These are the newest vessels in the fleet, having been in service for less than 12 months since their first charter.
  • Prestige Yachts (PRESTIGE): Boats in this category have been in service for under three years from their initial charter date.
  • Classic Comfort Yachts (CLASSIC): These vessels have been chartered for three to six years and continue to offer a high standard of service.
  • Legacy Fleet (LEGACY): Yachts in this category are more than six years old but remain fully operational and well-maintained.

Your safety is our priority and our charter fleet undergo regular, scheduled technical inspections as a part of our maintenance programme. When you book, you are given our hotline number, open year-round 24/7, in case there is an emergency. 

In the unlikely event you experience a technical failure of major yacht systems, we will carry out the repair within four hours of receiving your call during working hours (8am to 5pm). We will compensate you a full day if you lose more than four hours during working hours. You will be provided with a similar boat or pro-rata compensation if the repairs are more than one day. You’ll be notified at the base if there are restrictions to the guarantee.
